It nudges you when you are departing the lane without signal. ![]() Frankly, I had experience with Toyota's LKAS, also Mercedes. As a matter of fact, I will only buy my kid a car with this feature, just because they're always distracted by cell phones. It is working perfectly for what it is designed for. You're not suppose to rely on it for slowing down or braking. It is for those times you took your eyes off the road and the car had braked in front of you. This is the one I think you missed about what auto-braking is for.I have 2016, it was an accessory item, I think. Also got door sills, but the Honda accessory door sills. What's everyone elses impressions/thoughts? I'll be looking to put struts on the hood and maybe there's a hack for the trunk opening? So some things are a bit nit picking i know but it seems some standard equipment have just been short changed on the Honda for the level of vehicle. One of the reasons i switched from my Civics to a Sonata. 5yr 60k miles standard bumper to bumper on the Hyundai, 3yr 36k miles on the Honda. 100k mile drive train warranty standard on the Hyundai, Option to buy up on the Honda. While Hyundai makes a a Hybrid Sonata, i've heard stories where you can't start the car if it's left for a few days like at the airport and coming back to a dead car so i chose the Honda because of that. Both get around 600 miles on a tank 18gals on the Hyundai vs 12gals on the Honda. The Hyundai Hypermiling the best i could get was 39mpg. With Hypermiling the Honda i can get 55mpg but avg 52 on my daily combined city/highway driving. Both have poor interior lighting and have replaced with LED's vs incandescent bulbs.Engine noise during acceleration on both cars are loud yes because they are 4 cylinders but i thought the Honda would be more quiet with the electric motors but it seems to sound like it straining hard.I think this may be the reason this car was used with only 5k miles on it. It will tell you to keeps hands on the wheel on long stretches' where you don't need to steer because it's a straight so you have to move the staring wheel to appease it lol. This is kind of weird also as it will want you to go with the turn lane and you have to fight it to keep with the main traffic lane sometimes. ![]() No lane keep assist on the Hyundai model i had.The Honda can break hard and be jerky, seems it needs some more refinement on this and still warns you to brake! haha isn't that what auto braking is supposed to do for you? No auto breaking on the Hyundai model i had.The Honda seems to do weird things like wanting to follow cars off into turn lanes or brake for cars in turn lanes as you're passing them. No auto cruise control on the Hyundai model i had.Sometimes i have to plug directly into the USB charging to get it up to a good level. ![]() The phone gets very hot sometimes and would do good to have some venting/cooling in that compartment.
